Woo-hoo! Tomorrow is Friday, September 4, 2009. My sweet little angel will be 2 tomorrow! I can't believe how fast the time has flown! He's grown up so much! Before I know it he'll be starting school :( He's not feeling a 100% right now though, he's had a fever for the past couple of days and has a sore throat. At least we were able to get him into the doctor and they prescribed some antibiotics. He should be good as new in a couple of days.
Tomorrow is also my last treatment! I'm sooooo super excited! It will be number 15! 15 total IV's and I'm happy to say I won't miss it a bit! I will receive a dose and a half tomorrow. It usually takes 5 hours for my transfusion...i'm wondering how long it will take tomorrow. I went to the doctor today for one of my last non-stress tests and ultrasounds. My amniotic fluid is a little low, so tomorrow after my treatment I'll have another u/s and we'll decide what to do from there. No matter what, the latest Ellisyn will be here will be Wednesday, sept 9. I cannot wait! I'm really tired of having an IV every week, of checking my blood sugars at least 4 times a day, twice daily insulin shots and steriods. Not to say I'm not thankful for this course of treatment, because I really am. I just wish we didn't have this in the first place!
