Swim Lessons

We signed Ethan up for swimming lessons at the end of July. He loves getting in his small pool in the backyard...but big pools...not so much! We thought this would help him get over his fear. The first day...not so great. Their teacher was very sweet and didn't force him to do anything but he was not having it. Ellie, on the other hand, tried to lower herself in the pool with her clothes on. The teacher had a cancellation so I signed Ellie up for the time slot before Ethan. She absolutely loved it! The second day went a lot better for Ethan and he spent the 30 minutes laughing and loving the water. The rest of the week alternated between tears and laughing. At the end though...i do feel like he had more confidence and I know it will help him for next summer. Ellie had a blast through. Ethan really loved the water at her age too.
